ICRS Convention
Full Disclosure was officially released in July at the (ICRS) International Christian Retailers Show which was held in Denver. It was an incredible experience to be listed as an author right along side favorites such as, Karen Kingsbury, Francine Rivers, Brandilyn Collins, and many more. These renown authors of the Christian fiction field were very supportive and encouraging with their words to me, a new comer. I did two book signings at the Evergreen Press booth, where I received a warm reception from attendees of the show. Walter (my husband) enjoyed meeting such authors/artists as John Ashcroft, Kirk Cameron, Ray Comfort, Pat Sommeral. and Phil Joel from the Newsboys. Novel Journey Article
I had the privilage of being asked to write an article for a blog site that is geared towards authors. Novel Journey is a great site to read author interviews, information on marketing, and other key advice for the beginning writer. Their companion site Novel Review, reviews the latest books to hit the shelves in both the Christian and secular market. I have gained some great tips and information from these sites and was honored to have an article posted. Hume Lake Booksigning
What a joy it was to have my first official book signing. In conjunction with Hume Lake Christian Camps Spring Women's Conference, I was asked to host not only a marathon scrapbooking event but a book signing introducing the release of Full Disclosure as well. The ladies that attended were very excited to find out they were getting an exclusive pre-release of my book. It was fun to get a chance to talk to others about my writing journey and spur many others on who desire to write someday themselves.♥
1st Edition Delivery
It was such a thrill to receive the first shipment of my books. To see the name Full Disclosure on the side of the box with the words "First Edition" on it. What an incredible feeling to hold a bound copy of my book in my hands for the first time.♥
