REVEALED follows the difficult life of Annabelle, a former prostitute and her enbittered brother-in-law, Matthew. Widowed while forging ahead to new territory, Annabelle is faced with the task of finding a guide willing to see her through to Idaho. Unknowingly, Matthew answers the ad and is devastated to find out the brother he estranged himself from for so long was dead. Even though he's angry and blaming Annabelle for his brother's death, he agrees to be her guide, but for all the wrong reasons. Fleeing from problems of his own, he takes the opportunity to put as much space between him and his past, and prove Annabelle as the defiled, opportunist that she is.
A wonderful story, set in the rich setting of the American West. A must read for those of you who can't get enough of open pastures, fireside meals, and a time gone by. ♥
